    Beautiful exterior

This is a beautiful temple about 10 minute walk from Susukino statin. The shrine inside was rather plain and simple. You can plan for a 5-10 minute stop to take pictures of the exterior.

Beautiful, but a 5 min stop

The photos made it seem like there was a lot to see. Though grand and beautiful, it’s not something to travel far for if you’re not within 20 min of it. It’s located right in the city. Before approa...

    Famous Buddhist temple

Vibrant Buddhist temple in the heart of sapporo. Visually stunning temple on a small plot of land with active services daily.

    Gorgeous vermilion

    Original Text

It is a annex of Mt. Narita, which is located just east of the main road from Susukino to Nakajima Park. You can see the vermilion main hall, which has a very strong presence. The area itself is not that big, but I think it is a temple worth visiting.

It's a separate temple of Naritayama Shinshoji Temple.

    Original Text

From the Susukino intersection in Sapporo, walk south on the main street that runs north-south for 5 minutes, and turn left, there is this Naritayama Sapporo Betsuin Shineiji Temple. Susukino, the largest entertainment district north of Tokyo, was also sparsely populated during the daytime on weekdays. It is a temple in Susukino, but it was a large temple with many temples, including the main hall. And as the name suggests, this temple was a separate temple of that Naritayama Shinshoji Temple.
