Okura Mountain Olympic Stadium is very steep, so your legs are soft. The scenery is very beautiful, with a bird's eye view of Sapporo. After getting off the bus, step on the snow and walk a little mountain road for about 10 minutes! It's worth walking around.
The place recommended to me by the chartered car driver was not hopeful at first, but I found it really interesting. The cable car I took was very similar to skiing. Later I discovered that it was the Olympic venue for skiing! Fun!
Okura Mountain Ski Jumping Arena is a very good skiing place. There are a lot of people here in winter. Ski hotels are also available here. The skiing projects are also very cost-effective, and the jumps are also very steep.
Just a short drive from Sapporo city center is the Mt Okura Observatory and Sapporo Winter Sports Museum.
⛄️Ski trip in Japan all the way up the mountain to see the white snow ❄️So excited! The wonderful friends of the Myoko Plateau Ski Resort 発しましょう
I went to the Okura Mountain Ski Arena in Sapporo for the Japanese Winter Olympics. I took a hoist to the starting point for high-altitude skiing. You can see the scenery of Sapporo. The air is very fresh. The only regret is that there is only a small amount of snow on the track. I imagine the athletes back then. I really admire these warriors for the feat of flying more than 100 meters in the air like an arrow and breaking the world record.
