One of the must see places in Pattaya. 20 minutes drive from Jomtian beach
Came on February 11, 2023. Qizhen Buddha Mountain can also be regarded as a landmark attraction in Pattaya. This Buddha statue on the cliff was built in 1996 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the accession of the late King Rama IX to the throne. First, a slope of the mountain was polished flat, then "painted" with laser, and then inlaid with gold foil. This Buddha statue is more than 100 meters high and very spectacular. This attraction is relatively simple, mainly to see Buddha Mountain, take pictures and check in. If you are interested, you can read the introduction of the reason and construction process of the entire project in the scenic area. This attraction is in the suburbs of Pattaya, so you need to rent a car or drive there. When you go, you can arrange it on the same day with the surrounding Nong Nooch Tropical Garden and the IXth King Temple. No tickets are required for this scenic spot.
