University of Washington(informally U-Dub, simply Washington)

When traveling, I always want to visit the local universities—it feels like living a different life for a moment. Especially when it’s such a famous public university like the University of Washington. Gary Locke, former Microsoft chairman… they all graduated from UW. Bill Gates’ father, a well-known lawyer, once taught at its law school. Bruce Lee also studied here, and it was where he met his wife. Later, I visited UW’s Suzzallo Library—often referred to as the real-life “Harry Potter Library.” It grandeur rivals that of the Boston Public Library. The UW School of Medicine also ranks extremely high, consistently alongside Harvard and Stanford. Its programs in clinical medicine and public health are also highly ranked. Clinical medicine, public health, and nursing are all excellent. It's close to Amazon and Microsoft headquarters, and it collaborates closely with tech companies like Google and Meta, so its research funding is high.

The learning atmosphere is great, and it is a good university for studying. The cost-effectiveness of tuition fees can be improved... Children can come here for summer camps to experience the atmosphere of a world-renowned university. The natural scenery here is also great. You can sit on the grass and read quietly under the blue sky on weekends...

The University of Washington (UW) is a public research university located in Washington State, USA. It is not only the oldest public university on the West Coast of the United States, but also one of the top three most beautiful universities in the United States! If you come to Seattle, please make sure to arrange a day to visit, you will not be disappointed! UW is famous for its beautiful natural environment and excellent academic atmosphere. "Other people's universities" series... Especially compared to a university in Shanghai where I studied, the architecture alone is a world away. Founded in 1861, the University of Washington is a public research university in Washington State, with campuses in Tacoma and Bothell. As a top university in the world, the University of Washington has trained a group of outstanding talents, and has won awards including the Nobel Prize, the Fields Medal and the Turing Award, which is awesome. The campus is large and has no walls (a typical feature of American universities), so visitors can come and go freely, which feels great. Most of the buildings are Gothic, and the most representative one is the Suzzallo Library. By the way, the library system of the University of Washington is one of the largest in the world. Although it was not the most beautiful spring when we went there, and we couldn't see the romantic cherry blossoms, it was beautiful enough, and even the clumsy party could make blockbusters in minutes.

Today, I went to Washington University in Seattle alone to enjoy myself, but I also took it easy.................................................. The tall statue of the father of the country in Washington in Sword represents the admiration and remembrance of the humble great man who was willing to return to his homeland after the war; he passed the Huada Computer Science Building donated by Paul Allen, another founder of Microsoft; and the young students looked very comfortable living and learning in the Gothic ancient buildings and modern space... My favorite is the castle-style library, sitting at a rather classic table, holding books in hand, looking up at the elegant dome, and as if in a solemn and peaceful church, real education and good religion can make people excel in secular life, it seems that such a library will perfect the integration of the two...

Suzzallo and Allen Libraries, one of the filming locations of Harry Potter, is located in Red Square, the central plaza of the University of Washington. The statue of George Washington is right next to it. The Gothic-style exterior is very gorgeous and the interior space is also very tall. The University of Washington is very beautiful, and the library has become a tourist attraction.
