This Hanbok experience was by far the most satisfying one recently 💖 This Hanbok rental shop is conveniently located near Anguk Station, making it easy to visit Bukchon Hanok Village or Gyeongbokgung Palace for photos 👍🏻 The shop offers a wide variety of beautiful Hanboks, all of which are well-maintained and look almost brand new 🤍 The entire store gives off a clean and organized vibe ✨ For hairstyles, there are 8 styles to choose from, and the staff puts a lot of effort into creating them 🥰 The rental duration starts from three hours, with prices beginning at ₩30,000. Customers with reservations can enjoy free hairstyling 😍 (For walk-ins, there is an additional ₩10,000 fee). Additionally, the shop offers makeup and photography services for an extra charge ❕ I chose a modern Hanbok set, priced at ₩60,000 💜 The process of dressing up and hairstyling takes about 20-30 minutes, and the rental time starts only after you leave the shop 👌🏻 We headed to Bukchon Hanok Village for photos, and the atmosphere there perfectly complemented the Hanbok. The photos turned out amazing 🥹🤍 Afterward, we visited the popular café Onion for coffee and more photos ☕️📸 This café is famous for its Hanok-style design, with every corner being uniquely charming 🤎 Lastly, we even took some fun photo booth shots! 🙈 Although the prices at this Hanbok shop are not the cheapest, I personally think it's totally worth it! #summervacay Arrived around 10:30 AM on a sunny day — perfect weather for exploring! ☀️ Bukchon Hanok Village is basically one street filled with traditional Korean houses. The whole area is quite small, so you can stroll through it pretty quickly. Be mindful that some houses are private residences and not open to the public. Please respect the privacy and don’t enter those areas. 🚫 There are several souvenir shops selling local goods—though the quality can vary. You can also rent hanbok (traditional Korean clothing) here to take beautiful photos! 👘📸 For lunch, I tried the famous Baeknyeon Samgyetang (century-old ginseng chicken soup). The restaurant has an autograph from actor Seo Kang-ho at the entrance. The samgyetang was tender and flavorful, with sticky rice stuffed inside the chicken. Staying in a traditional Korean Hanok hotel in the popular tourist destination in Bukchon Hanok Village is a memorable experience. Surrounded by Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace and Jongmyo Shrine, Bukchon Hanok Village is home to hundreds of traditional houses, called hanok. Till today many residents still stay there and tourist are advice to keep their volume minimal while in this area. Welcomed by warm Korean hospitality, Bukchon Binkwan by Rakkojae unfolds as a portal to the past, allowing guests to immerse themselves in Korea's cultural richness. Rooms are on rooftop level with view of Namsan Tower. The bedroom is spacious and we slept on futons and sat on the heated floor to enjoy the welcome tea and snack in winter.
