Watched the fireworks show👀, saw the intangible cultural heritage performances👀, and also strolled through the Dragon Palace~ It is said that the intangible cultural heritage performances🎭 of the Fire Dragon Dance and Iron Flower Fireworks💥 even made it to the 2024 'Dragon TV Spring Festival Gala'. It's like we were watching a live broadcast on the spot. In the Polar Town, a professional team of more than 50 people from Tongliang, Chongqing, gathered together to form two vivid dragons. Their cool and flexible movements, combined with the dazzling and colorful cold fireworks, made the scene spectacular Standing on the bridge between the North and South Poles at night to watch the Iron Flower Fireworks was even more interesting. Since we were traveling with two kids, we decided to stay at a hotel near Haichang to ensure we could arrive at the park right when it opened without tiring the children with a long commute. We booked a Didi ride and arrived at around 9:10 AM. After taking some photos at the entrance, we queued up for bag checks and ticket exchange as the park opened at 9:30 AM. We purchased a family package ticket via the Trip app, and entry required a passport and QR code. This process took about 20-30 minutes. Once inside the park, head to the Information desk on the left to scan a QR code using WeChat. This will provide the day's show schedule and a map for navigating the park. Haichang is vast, combining an aquarium and amusement park. To make the most of your visit, it's recommended to focus on the aquarium shows in the morning (killer whale and sea lion shows). Afterward, explore the area and have lunch there. Highlights include a One Piece-themed restaurant and a souvenir shop. Around 2 PM, move to the amusement park side to queue for rides and catch the final dolphin show before the park closes. For the killer whale show, queue up an hour before the show starts. For other shows, arriving 15-30 minutes early is sufficient. Seating tips: · Killer whale show: Choose middle-upper seats to avoid getting soaked, as even raincoats won't help much in the lower seats. · Dolphin show: Opt for lower seats on the left or right sides for a better view, as the opening act involves interaction with the audience. Sitting in the middle-upper section makes it harder to see, and the dolphins appear very small from there. · Sea lion show: Any seat offers a good view. VIP seating is available for all shows at the best angles, priced at 90 yuan per seat.
