I went to the Shanghai Zoo specifically for the red pandas, and they turned out to be even better than I could have imagined. Did you know that at the Shanghai Wild Animal Park, you can buy a ticket to an interactive zone featuring these incredible red pandas? For a small fee, you and a small group can enter the enclosure with these fluffy creatures, feed them a slice of apple, and admire their behavior. The enclosure is quite spacious, and the red pandas just go about their lives literally right next to you. We were lucky enough to see them sleeping, playing, and walking around their habitat. These red, fluffy creatures look incredibly cute and evoke pure delight! Honestly, I could look through their photos in my camera roll over and over again. Small and fluffy, with gorgeous striped tails and curious little faces, red pandas look as if they were invented specifically for a cartoon. You can watch them endlessly: they climb nimbly, explore their surroundings, and constantly bring a smile to visitors' faces. The absolute highlight of the trip was getting to feed a red panda and see it up close. Touching the animals is strictly prohibited by the rules, but their fur looks very inviting, so be prepared for that! Of course, the Shanghai Zoo is memorable to me for more than just the red pandas; its grounds are huge, lush, and incredibly well-maintained. You can spend a few hours here and not even notice how time flies. I especially loved the enclosures with smaller animals, like the lemurs, which were sleepily huddled together in small groups. The space is so open that during our visit, a couple of lemurs calmly wandered out of their designated lawn area and started exploring right next to the visitors. It was the best zoo I've ever visited, and it's worth noting that the animals look extremely well cared for, which is a joy to see. A must-visit for all tech geeks and space enthusiasts. Yes, there are a lot of kids around, but you'll feel like a kid yourself! You'll completely forget to take photos as you wander around, look, touch, launch things, and stare in awe all over again. Halfway back to the city is the Wild Animal Park, which is just as incredible. If you spend your morning at the museum, definitely spend your afternoon here. The enclosures are spacious and semi-open with no typical "cages." You can even step inside some habitats to feed the animals under staff supervision—like the red pandas! You can also stroll among playful lemurs, reminding you once more that you're still a kid at heart. The park leaves a lasting, amazing impression. I chose this park over the regular zoo because it paired so well with the astronomy museum, and I don't regret a single second of it!
