Meet the Panda - Giant Panda Stamp: Winter is the most active season for giant pandas. They play outdoors, climbing tree trunks to mark territory, running on the grass, and when tired, sitting on platforms hugging bamboo and bamboo shoots to feast.
Red Panda Shop - Red Panda Stamp: Red pandas are known for their "lazy and gluttonous" personality, loving to lounge on cloud ladders and branches, using their fluffy tails as pillows for naps. The scent of apples instantly perks them up, and they drool uncontrollably when eating sweet apples, making them the park’s "cute ambassador."
Water Area Shop - Kangaroo Stamp: Kangaroo Hill is home to over thirty red and gray kangaroos. During the day, they nap on the lawn with half-closed eyes, showing a lazy "classy" look. Kangaroo moms carry joeys in their pouches and occasionally hop slowly with their babies on the grass.
MINI Animal World - Siberian Tiger Stamp: The Siberian tigers in this zone are "sunbathing enthusiasts," precisely finding the sunniest spots, curling up on rocks or majestically leaping onto zebra car roofs to survey their territory, looking like giant lazy cats.
Creative Story House - Capybara Stamp: Capybara moms stroll slowly with their "capybaras" between lawns and shallow pools. Some are lively "e-capybaras," some prefer solitude "i-capybaras," and others are "foodie capybaras" or "zen capybaras."
Small Animal Paradise Shop - Parrot Stamp: The parrot zone near Small Animal Paradise is lively, with colorful macaws as the "atmosphere makers." They often flap their bright wings and preen each other, lively and spirited, occasionally making loud calls, earning the title of the park’s "happy little trumpets."
Creative Market - Super Commemorative Stamp: After collecting all six exclusive animal stamps, head to the Creative Market to get a super commemorative stamp featuring multiple cute animals and redeem a super soft and adorable paw charm for free! Hang the paw charm on your passport lanyard to carry the joy of your park visit with you! The check-in passport is available for purchase at various creative shops in the park. Stamping hours are from 10:00 to 16:00 (subject to change, please confirm on-site).
Other visitors' reviews of Shanghai Wild Animal Park
Show More ReviewsI finally got to touch a red panda! Springtime is always a great time to visit the wildlife park, as you can see many newborn animals. I've held a white lion cub before, but I always missed the red panda interaction time. This time, I went straight to the red panda area and waited in a long line. Later, I realized that if I had gone a little later, the line would have been shorter. There were so many foreigners at the zoo now, and they seemed to love the red pandas too. Unfortunately, there were only two bunches of fruit. I learned a trick from a foreigner: use the fruit to lure the red pandas onto your lap for a photo. It worked really well! There's also interaction time with the lemurs; they're very cute, and I always go there.
