A beautiful zoo with a great variety of animals to see. Some areas were quieter and had smaller enclosures, but the animals all appeared healthy and well cared for. The signage could be a bit clearer, though the large size of the zoo makes it a very enjoyable place to explore on foot.Unfortunately, many visitors did not respect the “no feeding” signs, which was disappointing to see. Aside from that, it’s a great place to relax and spend a day away from the city.

I went on a weekday, and the crowds were manageable. I bought tickets through Ctrip; children under 1.3 meters tall don't need tickets. There are electric carts inside the park for 20 yuan per person, unlimited rides on the same day. If you're short on energy, have elderly people or young children, you'll need the electric carts to explore the entire park. Otherwise, if you don't mind a bit of exertion, you can take your time. There's a children's playground and a small shop inside the park. There are indoor and outdoor enclosures. Some animals hide, so your child can try to find them. There are also pigeons; you can bring some bread to feed them. It's quite a fun and interesting place to visit.

I often bring my child to the Shanghai Zoo. It's located near shopping malls, the ticket prices are reasonable, and there's a wide variety of animals. The kids have a great time; they have elephants, giraffes, and more.

It is highly recommended for those with children, because the Shanghai Zoo is quite large. If you are afraid of walking, you can take the white shuttle bus inside, which requires a ticket. You can see many animals. In winter, the Amphibian Pavilion is also recommended. It is an indoor venue with air conditioning. There are tropical pythons, poisonous snakes, tropical turtles, and many small goldfish, crocodiles, butterflies, etc. It is very good. In addition, there are slides for children to play in the zoo (free of charge), and amusement facilities (such as roller coasters, carousels, etc. require additional tickets)

Shanghai Zoo is amazing! There are a wide variety of animals, from majestic lions and tigers to cute giant pandas, as well as smart birds and cute little monkeys, which allow people to observe their living habits up close. The park is well greened, the environment is beautiful and comfortable, and it is refreshing to visit. The supporting facilities are also complete, the signboards are clear, and there are plenty of dining and rest areas. It is a good place for parents and children to play and relax.

I went to Shanghai Zoo with my colleagues and two children. My son had been here when he was a child. It has been 28 years now and I am old now.
