Show More ReviewsThree must-see attractions on Wukang Road are the Wukang Building, the Former Residence of Soong Ching-ling, and the Old House Art Center (Former Residence of Huang Xing). The Wukang Building is a landmark building on Wukang Road. Designed by architect László Hudec in 1924, it resembles a giant ship and is one of Shanghai's earliest apartment buildings with external corridors. The building has an arcade on the ground floor. Although the interior is not open to the public, the street-front shops include galleries, bookstores, and cafes, offering opportunities to explore its cultural atmosphere. In 2024, to commemorate its 100th anniversary, the "Urban Intersection" gallery on the first floor hosted a limited-time free exhibition showcasing the building's history.
