The Yellow River Old Embankment is an ancient embankment of the Yellow River, which is known as the "Great Wall on the Water." It was built in the 25th year of the reign of the Ming Emperor Jiajing. Repaired many times throughout the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it is also called "the Ming and Qing Yellow River Embankment." It has a history of more than 400 years, and it is also the best preserved ancient levee on the Yellow River. Many fruit trees have been planted on the levee. Other scenery nearby includes Linqi Lake, Wutun Lake and Renzhuang Lake. It is a good place for eco-tourism related activities.
