Last November, I went to Shexian and lived in the area of Shendu Pier. The next morning I went to the pier to see it. But instead of taking a boat, we drove up several towns along the Xin'an River, Miantan and Zhangtan villages. There are some Hui-style buildings to see, mainly along the Xin'an River to see the scenery along the river. Shendu Wharf is still very unique. There are two waterways to choose from. One way is to go to several towns in the upper reaches of Xin'anjiang River. That's our way. The other way is to Qiandao Lake downstream. If we don't drive by ourselves, we will choose this way.
