Notice of performance time Adjustment
based on 1,270 reviewSplendid China Folk Cultural Villages consists of two parts: The Splendid China Miniature Scenic Area and the Chinese Folk Culture Village Tourist Area. The former has many miniatures of China’s famous landscapes, allowing you to “travel through China in one day”. The latter has 24 villages with buildings where you can experience folk customs and watch folk performances of 56 ethnic groups.

The two parks have been merged, just buy one ticket. It is generally recommended to visit the Splendid China Miniature Scenic Area in the morning and the Chinese Folk Culture Village Tourist Area in the afternoon, because the large-scale performances in the Chinese Folk Culture Village Tourist Area are all in the afternoon.
If you want to take a quick tour in half a day, you can also consider combining walking and electric scooters. The format of the shuttle bus is fixed. The stopping point of the Splendid China Miniature Scenic Area is the Confucius Temple and the stopping point of the Chinese Folk Culture Village Tourist Area is Mosuo Village. It takes about 25 minutes to browse the entire scenic spot. Stop time is 2 minutes.
The Splendid China Miniature Scenic Area
Mainly viewing miniature scenic spots and taking photos. There are nearly a hundred Chinese scenic spots reduced to a 1:15 ratio, which can be said to be a collection of the essence of China's natural scenery and human history. You can have a panoramic view of the mini version of the Great Wall, Qin Terracotta Warriors, Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang, Huangguoshu Waterfall and other scenic spots here, so it is said that you can "travel all over China in one day".
The Chinese Folk Culture Village Tourist Area
You can appreciate the unique customs of China's 56 ethnic groups. You can see the colorful ethnic minority costumes, the architectural styles of 24 villages and various folk performances, which are dizzying.
Its 24 villages are all built at a ratio of 1:1, giving people an immersive feeling. The architectural styles of the villages of ethnic minorities are even more unique, such as the Stone Village of the Buyi people, the wooden houses of the Mosuo people, and the bamboo houses of the Dai people. Buildings, Mongolian yurts, Tibetan lamasery, etc., people took photos from time to time.
There are many participating projects in the park that you can experience personally, such as awning boats, wooden boats, Dulong zip lines, horse riding, archery, etc. For the performance schedule and performance introduction, you can check the official website link in advance.

Show More ReviewsThird trip, first this year. The park continues to shine - huge strides made in accessibility for non-Mandarin speakers, and the new shows on the lake are amazing. Really, really enjoyable day out. Stay for the whole day, make sure to check the board at the entrace for the show times so you don't waste time aimlessly wandering, (although even then, you'll likely have plenty leftover for a second trip, another time.)
