A cute travel review of Singapore 🇸🇬 that everyone will surely fall in love with! ✨
Hello everyone~ Today, Boom is here to share her experience traveling to Singapore, a charming and delightful city that truly suits everyone. It’s a chill trip that offers everything—stunning views, delicious food, and lots of fun. Let’s see what Boom did and what’s so interesting that she’s already planning to go back again!
⸻
Day 1: Arriving at Changi Airport, a place that feels like an amusement park! 🛬🌿
Starting off at Changi Airport, renowned as one of the most beautiful and complete airports in the world. Upon landing, you’re greeted by lush greenery and the world’s tallest indoor waterfall (Rain Vortex). It feels like stepping into another world! This isn’t just an airport; it’s a destination in itself, featuring a butterfly garden, cute cafes, restaurants, and plenty of shopping options. Strolling around is so enjoyable, with lots of adorable photo spots. Make sure to allocate extra time here!
⸻
Gardens by the Bay: A fairytale-like garden 🌸🌳
After resting and unpacking, Boom headed to Gardens by the Bay, an extraordinary public park featuring Supertrees—towering giant trees. Visiting in the evening when the light show is on is absolutely mesmerizing, like stepping into a fairytale.
Boom loved the glass domes, Flower Dome and Cloud Forest, which house plants from around the world and a large artificial waterfall. Walking around feels refreshing, like an adventure in a mysterious forest. It’s a place where every corner is photogenic. If you love nature but don’t want to travel far, this is the spot for you!
⸻
Marina Bay Sands: Iconic skyline and infinity pool 🌆🏙️
Next, Boom headed to Marina Bay Sands, a luxurious hotel with an infinity pool on the rooftop. Although she didn’t stay there, she visited the SkyPark instead. The panoramic view of Singapore’s cityscape is breathtaking, and she couldn’t stop taking photos. Sunset here is especially magical.
This area also features Marina Bay Sands Mall with high-end brand stores, chic cafes, and the ArtScience Museum designed like a lotus flower. It’s another great spot for a leisurely stroll.
⸻
Universal Studios Singapore: Thrills and fun in the world of movies 🎢🎬
On the second day, Boom visited Universal Studios Singapore on Sentosa Island. This place is perfect for movie and theme park lovers, with zones like Jurassic Park, Transformers, and Far Far Away. Boom enjoyed thrilling rides and entertaining shows, and even took photos with adorable characters.
She had so much fun despite being exhausted. The lively atmosphere is great for families and young adults. If you get the chance, you must try it—you’ll love it!
⸻
Sentosa Island: A mix of fun and relaxation 🏖️🌴
After the theme park, Boom explored Sentosa Island further. It offers beautiful beaches, clear waters, and adventurous activities like the Adventure Cove Waterpark with exciting water slides and snorkeling in the massive aquarium (S.E.A. Aquarium).
In the evening, she watched the Wings of Time show, featuring lights, sounds, and fireworks. The finale was heartwarming and romantic, perfect for couples or close friends.
⸻
Chinatown & Little India: Vibrant cultural districts 🍜🎉
Next, don’t miss Chinatown and Little India, two areas that let you experience Chinese and Indian cultures through architecture and delicious food. Chinatown has old Chinese restaurants, beautiful temples, and cute souvenir shops, while Little India boasts stunning temples, aromatic spices, and flavorful Indian cuisine.
These districts are ideal for those who love taking beautiful photos and trying local dishes. Boom tried local tea and snacks, which were so good she had to bring some home!
⸻
Orchard Road: Shopping and charming cafes 🛍️🍰
On the last day of the trip, Boom went shopping on Orchard Road, Singapore’s famous shopping street. It’s packed with brand-name stores, restaurants, and adorable cafes. Boom enjoyed Kaya Toast, a toasted bread spread with butter and egg custard—it’s sweet and creamy, perfect with hot tea.
Strolling around, she found plenty of photo spots, and the locals were kind and orderly. It’s a place where you can relax and wander all day.
⸻
Singaporean Cuisine: A feast for every bite 🍲🍤
Singapore is renowned for its diverse food scene, thanks to its multicultural population. Boom tried Hainanese Chicken Rice, tender and fragrant chicken with a flavorful dipping sauce; Chili Crab, spicy and savory stir-fried crab; Laksa, a rich and spicy noodle soup; and local desserts like Cendol and Ice Kachang, which are refreshing and sweet.
For street food lovers, she recommends Lau Pa Sat or Maxwell Food Centre, where you’ll find plenty of delicious options at affordable prices.
⸻
Atmosphere and Impressions 🥰
Singapore is incredibly convenient to travel around, with excellent public transportation. The locals are polite and helpful, and the city is clean and safe, making it very comfortable to explore. Boom was impressed by every corner of this city.
Despite being a small city, Singapore has everything—modernity, nature, culture, and fun. If you’re unsure where to travel next, Boom highly recommends Singapore. It’s easy to visit, the food is amazing, and there are plenty of activities to enjoy!
⸻

Good place for a family outing at the water park. Kids especially like the slides and wave pool. Rainbow reef was interesting too. Definitely worth a visit. But do go on a weekday where there is less crowds
Adventure Cove Waterpark, located on Sentosa Island in Singapore, offers the perfect mix of adrenaline-pumping rides and relaxing water fun. It’s home to Southeast Asia’s first hydro-magnetic coaster, the Riptide Rocket, as well as the Rainbow Reef, where guests can snorkel among 20,000 tropical fish. Families can float along the Adventure River, enjoy waves at Bluewater Bay, or race on the Dueling Racer slide. For kids, Seahorse Hideaway provides a safe splash zone. The park also features interactive marine encounters at Ray Bay and Shark Encounter. Open daily from 10 AM to 5 PM, it’s easily accessible via MRT and Sentosa Express. Tickets start at SGD 38 for adults and SGD 30 for children. A must-visit for water lovers!
Adventure Cove Waterpark at Resorts World Sentosa is Singapore’s ultimate aquatic playground, perfect for both thrill-seekers and families. Race down high-speed water slides like the Riptide Rocket or relax on a scenic float along the Adventure River, passing through lush landscapes and an underwater tunnel teeming with marine life. Guests can snorkel at Rainbow Reef with 20,000 tropical fish or interact with rays at Ray Bay (additional fees apply). Young ones will love the kid-friendly zones .
I personally think it is very good. The child is four and a half years old. I like it very much. The weather forecast said that it was thunderstorms and overcast. As a result, the big sun was directly dizzy. Fortunately, it was playing in the water. Today is just Monday. Basically, there are very few people. After playing, others said that they would have to queue up for a long time. The project is too addictive. The child especially likes rafting and wave pools. It has been a long time. It only comes out at 4:30 from 11 o'clock. It is suitable for parents and children. There are some large projects that limit the height of 122cm. It is still more scientific. Otherwise, there are more people. The staff will basically communicate in Chinese. There is no problem, and it is not very big inside. Walk around for more than 20 minutes, but it really takes a whole day to play
Absolutely super worth a visit to the water park, unlike most water parks in China, it has a super long drifting river, will pass through many mobile facilities on the way, and then the aquarium area, you can see a lot of fish, luck can also see dolphins. Then there are various holes, there is really a feeling of fantasy drifting, you must experience it yourself. In addition, there are two very special projects, one is coral reef snorkeling, swimming with tens of thousands of tropical fish is great, but pay attention, the water temperature in this area is relatively low, and the amount of effort is fine. There is also a name forgotten, in short, the longest queue is right. However, both projects can be used with priority certificates, S$20 per person, each project once or one project twice. Because we used the priority certificate of Universal Studios, we bought this without thinking about it, and it turned out to be correct. In short, this is a water park very close to nature, even worth experiencing than Universal Studios.
Conscience tips for water park: 1. Be sure to buy fast tickets on weekends. We didn't buy fast tickets on Saturday. There are not many people watching the popular projects, but the waiting time is very long. Standing for a long time under the hot sun, very irritable and tired! If you don't want to buy a fast ticket, then it is recommended that you go snorkeling after changing your clothes. Because it will take two hours to queue up in the afternoon! 2. It is also recommended to wear a duck tongue cap that can be fixed on your head when rafting, which can both shade the sun. It can also block some small waterfalls that appear from time to time. I wear a loose empty cap, really practical! 3. Wear diving shoes, that is, swimming shoes, like socks on the feet. Because only this kind of shoes are not taken off when playing various projects. If you wear slippers, you have to take off at the door when you queue up, waiting for the queue to be long and tired, and barefoot, you can imagine! When we went this time, because we wore swimming shoes, it was really convenient and easy to use!
Adventure Park, located next to the Shengtaosha Island Aquarium, is a place to play in a swimsuit. There are places to store bags outside and inside. The small cabinet outside the gate is eight yuan for four hours, and the large cabinet is ten yuan for four hours. The small cabinet inside can be stored for ten yuan a day, and can be opened and closed many times. And you can change clothes inside. If you want to store the cabinet outside the door, it is recommended to change the swimsuit at the hotel and then put a coat in the past. It is more expensive to buy a ticket at the gate, Trip.com is more cost-effective, and the specific ticket price is referenced in my first picture. There are rafting and many entertainment projects inside. Drifting is real rafting. Sitting on the big swimming lap, you can always drift with the waves. There is a classification of the thriller level of entertainment projects, which can be selected according to your own situation. The dolphins in the dolphin park are very cute and can choose a package according to their own situation. Gu played without taking too many photos, take the children in, adults and children will play more hilarious. Trip.com The fare is very favorable, and the mobile phone can go in by swiping the bar code directly, which is very convenient. Recommend to play
The water park was not originally planned, but I found out that the water park was the happiest place during the whole trip. Adults and children are very happy to play! The door is not allowed to bring food, you have to open the package to check, the rotating slide inside looks very dangerous, but when you play, there is a slow rush, there is a thrilling, but it is very safe. The density ratio of the development water park service staff is very large, and patiently responsible, and stick to the post. It is safer than domestic.
