Singapore: A Travel Review of a Charming Little City Full of Happiness 🌈✨
Hello everyone! Today, Boom is taking you on a trip to "Singapore," a small city packed with charm and vibrant colors. I recently visited and fell in love with this place without even realizing it. It feels like a city that perfectly blends modernity with nature, making it so relaxing to stroll around—it feels just like home.
⸻
Day 1: Changi Airport… Gateway to Wow 🛬🌿
The trip begins at Changi Airport, often hailed as the most beautiful airport in the world. I can confirm—it’s true! This isn’t just an ordinary airport; it’s like an indoor amusement park with towering trees, a waterfall, and a butterfly garden full of vibrant colors. A short walk here feels like a nature retreat.
I loved the cozy resting areas with soft sofas and plenty of picturesque spots, especially the Jewel Changi Waterfall, which stands about 40 meters tall. It’s a must-see highlight, especially for photography enthusiasts.
⸻
Gardens by the Bay: A Dream Garden with Giant Supertrees 🌳💡
The first day of sightseeing starts at Gardens by the Bay, a massive public park with a chic design. The Supertrees, towering structures resembling giant trees, are especially stunning at night when illuminated. I arrived in the evening and watched the light and sound show at the Supertrees—it was mesmerizing! The music and lights blended perfectly, creating a fantasy-like atmosphere.
Inside the park, there are also the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest, two large glass domes with cool air and exotic plants from around the world. I particularly loved the waterfall dome in Cloud Forest—it felt like stepping into a tropical rainforest.
⸻
Marina Bay Sands: Luxurious Hotel, Stunning Views, Rooftop Pool 🌆🏊♀️
Next up is Marina Bay Sands, a luxurious hotel with an iconic rooftop infinity pool. While I didn’t stay there, I bought a ticket to visit the SkyPark on the top floor. The view of Singapore at sunset was breathtaking, with the city lights twinkling romantically.
I spent time enjoying the view and taking photos until I lost track of time. This spot is perfect for photography lovers and anyone wanting to experience a 360-degree panoramic view.
⸻
Universal Studios Singapore: Thrills and Fun at a World-Class Theme Park 🎢🎠
When it comes to theme parks in Singapore, Universal Studios Singapore on Sentosa Island is a must-visit. I spent the whole day enjoying thrilling rides in zones like Jurassic Park, Transformers, and Far Far Away, filled with characters from famous movies. It was so exciting and fun, with rides for both thrill-seekers and young children.
There were also character parades and shows that added to the lively atmosphere. Whether you’re visiting with family or friends, you’re guaranteed a full day of fun.
⸻
Chinatown & Little India: Two Vibrant Cultural Districts 🌸🍛
Another day, I chose to explore Chinatown and Little India. Chinatown features beautiful Chinese temples, souvenir shops, and local Chinese cuisine. I enjoyed authentic Peking duck and traditional sweets from small alleyway shops.
Little India, on the other hand, is bursting with colors and the aroma of spices. I visited the stunning Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple and tried some spicy and flavorful Indian dishes. It was a delightful cultural experience.
⸻
Sentosa Island: Fun and Beautiful Beaches 🏖️🐠
Sentosa is a paradise for beach lovers and those seeking fun activities. The island has beautiful beaches for relaxing strolls or chilling out. I enjoyed the slides at Adventure Cove Waterpark and visited the S.E.A. Aquarium, one of the largest in the world. The colorful fish and fascinating exhibits were truly impressive.
In the evening, I watched the Wings of Time show by the sea—a spectacular light and sound show with fireworks and fountains. The atmosphere was so enchanting that I could have watched it forever.
⸻
Orchard Road: Shopping and Cute Treats 🍰🛍️
On the last day of the trip, I went shopping on Orchard Road, a fashion street filled with brand-name stores and diverse malls. I enjoyed browsing for cute items, buying souvenirs, and sampling Singaporean desserts.
My favorite was Kaya Toast, toasted bread with butter and egg jam that’s perfectly sweet and creamy. Paired with hot tea, it was pure bliss! There are plenty of adorable cafes here, perfect for those who love taking photos and enjoying delicious treats.
⸻
Final Impressions of the Trip 💕🌏
Singapore is a city that seamlessly blends modernity, cleanliness, and nature. I loved its orderliness and the convenience of getting around, whether by MRT or bus.
The food was diverse and delicious every meal, from Chinese, Indian, Malay, to Western cuisine. I feel this city is a perfect destination for everyone, whether traveling solo, with friends, or family.
⸻

The cloud forest is an indoor scene park similar to Jurassic Park. The aerial trail strolling down and overlooking the whole scene is still shocking. Personal feeling is better than the flower.
The flower covers an area of1.28 hectares, breaking the Guinness World Records in 2015 to become the world's largest glass greenhouse, with a separate unsupported glass roof and no columns inside to hinder the view. Plants are rich and varied: more than 32,000 plants have been planted, covering about 160 species, cultivated varieties and varieties, from olive trees with thousands of years of history to magnolias, Hu Jihua and so on. • Featured plants: There are many temperate flowers and trees from all over the world, as well as desert plants such as cactus, succulents, and flowers such as tulips, dahlias, lilies and other flowers. Landscape Design • Theme Area: There are four distinctive areas in the flower garden, drawing inspiration from fairy tales and legendary Babylonian sky gardens, creating cave-like spaces, exquisite floating wood sculptures and flower artworks. • Ladder Garden: It is a huge step garden with layers of plant landscapes, creating a three-dimensional visual effect, making tourists seem to be in a dreamy garden wonderland. Exhibition activities • Periodic replacement: Flowers in the flower will change special display topics regularly, such as the Tulip Festival in 2025, which exhibited a 6-meter-high Trojan horse sculpture, as well as the "White Snake in the Blooming of Spring Flowers" flower exhibition, "Lily Shengshi" theme flower exhibition and so on. • Cultural experience: Combining the theme of the exhibition, there will also be a wealth of cultural activities, such as cultural guides, handicraft workshops, etc., so that tourists can deeply experience the cultural characteristics of different countries and regions.
Really beautiful, the air temperature is moderately adjusted, it is great. I like the cloud forest garden in Singapore. It feels like a plant museum. The photos are also special. There are many angles to take good-looking landmarks.
Flower Dome + Cloud Forest, medium-sized botanical garden + super-large botanical garden, both are greenhouses, especially the Cloud Forest, which covers an area that is more than ten times larger than the greenhouse of the Beijing Botanical Garden [covering face]. It is very spectacular and beautiful, as if you have walked into a fairyland!
Went there on the weekend, it was crowded. It took a long time to queue up, and I gave up halfway through the queue. I guess it will be much better during the week, it's still worth a visit.
The indoor waterfall is the highlight. The up and down trails are well designed. You can't go wrong in one direction. There is air conditioning and it is a good place to hide from the midday sun.
Various exotic flowers and plants, pleasant scenery, 【cost-effective】
It’s very shocking, it’s the ceiling of garden design.
