Gardens by the Bahay Kubo: A Fiesta of Orchids pays tribute to the stunning orchids and heartwarming culture of the Philippines. After all, the orchids found in the Philippines are among the most beautiful in the world, and the country also has one of the highest levels of endemic orchid species. The Bahay Kubo is a traditional indigenous stilt house, an icon of Philippine culture, that is a metaphor for the strong community ties that the country is so known for. When a family wants to relocate, all the men in the neighbourhood will gather to help move their Bahay Kubo! In the display, a Bahay Kubo sits amidst more than 40 taxa of orchids, including those of the Vanda, Dendrobium and Phalaenopsis genera that best represent the beauty of Philippine orchids. Make sure you come by within the first few weeks of opening day to catch the limited blooming of the waling waling or Vanda sanderiana, affectionately called the Queen of Philippine Orchids by admirers. Throughout the display, there will be an abundance of other stunning blooms such as the Phalaenopsis schilleriana, an orchid endemic to the Philippines and an ancestor of many of the pink moth orchid hybrids we see today.

4 days in Singapore 🇸🇬Travel month: February (2023) Weather: Sunny with chances of 🌧 Hotel: Ibis Budget Singapore Mount Faber Transportation: Train and Cable Car 💡 Singapore tourist pass - Offers tourists unlimited travel using LRT, MRT and buses for 1, 2 or 3 days. I obtained mine at the VivoCity station located at the Harbourfront. 💡Cable Car Flexi Pass - Offers unlimited cable car rides for the day and 2 free activities to choose from. I suggest getting the Sentosa Bus Tour and Wings of Time. I got the deal at the Harbourfronttower two gondola lift station for $65 per adult. ✨️ Day 1 - I spent the whole day exploring the popular spots near the Marina Bay.The Flower Dome and Cloud Forest require an entrance fee but it is worth it! I also loved the free Supertree lightshows at 7:45pm and 8:45pm. 📍 Esplanade -Theatres on the bay 📍 Merlion park 📍 Gardens by the Bay: Cloud Forest, Flower Dome and Supertree Grove. ✨️Day 2 - I roamed the streets of Chinatown and tried some delicacies. After lunch, I visited Mount Faber Peak and Sentosa Island via Cable car. I'm glad I opt in for Sentosa Bus Tour and Wings of Time as part of Flexipass deal. I was able to explore the island with short amount of time. If you prefer to spend more time at the USS, you need to be early as it can be very busy. 📍Chinatown 📍Mount Faber Peak 📍Sentosa Island: Resorts World Sentosa - Universal Studios, Palawan Beach, Siloso Beach, Imbiah Lookout and Fort Siloso Skywalk. ✨️Day 3 - I was able to see Singapore from the 57th floor of Marina Bays Sands hotel. We took pictures in the garden, in an actual tree stump and outside of the garden it really wasn't that crowded which made it even more great to experience. You can also learn history when you walk through the garde; you can learn a lot of history about Singapore and the place and different trees and botanical things. this is a place that I highly recommend anyone visiting Singapore goes and it's also close to another landmark where you can go and shop and enjoty views from the rooftop bar
