Nature's Embrace: Mandai Boardwalk
Ah, the Mandai Boardwalk! Imagine stepping into a serene world where you're literally walking amongst the treetops, with the tranquil Upper Seletar Reservoir glistening beside you. It's a fantastic escape from the city buzz, offering a blend of nature, fresh air, and some pretty spectacular views.
As you stroll along the boardwalk, the first thing that strikes you is the sheer tranquility. The gentle lapping of water, the rustling of leaves, and the chirping of birds create a soothing symphony. The boardwalk itself is well-maintained and mostly flat, making it an easy and enjoyable walk for people of all ages and fitness levels.
Look out towards the reservoir, and you'll often see kayakers or dragon boaters gliding across the calm waters. The surrounding greenery is lush and vibrant, a testament to Singapore's commitment to its "City in a Garden" vision. You might even spot some interesting wildlife – perhaps a monitor lizard basking in the sun or various species of birds flitting through the branches.
There are several lookout points along the boardwalk where you can pause, take in the panoramic vistas, and snap some photos. The views, especially during sunrise or sunset, can be quite breathtaking, with the sky painted in hues of orange, pink, and purple reflecting off the water.
The boardwalk seamlessly connects to other attractions in the Mandai area, like the Singapore Zoo, River Wonders, and Night Safari. So, you could easily combine your boardwalk stroll with a visit to these wildlife parks for a full day of nature immersion.
Whether you're looking for a peaceful solo walk, a romantic evening stroll, or a family outing, the Mandai Boardwalk offers a refreshing and picturesque experience. It's a reminder of the natural beauty that exists just a stone's throw away from the urban landscape of Singapore. Have you been thinking of visiting?

Located in the north of Singapore, Singapore Wildlife World is one of the best tropical rainforest zoos in the world. Managed by the Wildlife Conservation Group, it has four parks: Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Safari, Singapore Bird Park, and Rainforest Adventure Park. Singapore Zoo is well worth a visit. As one of the top ten zoos in the world, its open design, rich animal species and unique ecological experience make it an ideal choice for family travel and nature lovers.
A unique and beautiful experience with the safari and night marketplace, but hard to see the animals in the night with a lot of people, and a bit redundant after a visit to the Rainforest Wildlife Asia in the day. For $45, this two hour visit is not the best value for the money.
Rainforest Wildlife Asia offers a rare chance to see Asia’s most iconic animals up close in a well-maintained, immersive setting. We spotted creatures like the Malayan Tapir, Asian small-clawed otters, exotic birds, native Singaporean monkeys, etc. Loved this unique and enjoyable experience!
This is a place where you can get close to nature and animals. You can visit a lot of knowledge about plants and animals. It is very creative and attracts many children to visit and learn.
Very fun place, relatively speaking, there are not as many people in other parks, the place is not very big, but a few parks are together, and it feels quite good to play all day.
have a fun day with family and friends ~ love it so much ~ will come again next time ~
