Visit to the National Museum turned out to be so enriching as the latest exhibition took us back to the past with notable & memorable memories of the gadgets, sights & sounds used in the past era. Am so glad to be part of the generation that experienced some of the heydays prior to the millennial change. Great experience for the young & old, ends on 31 Oct 2022. Many chances for photo-taking and interactive mini games to blast yourself to the past and be fully immersed on how life was like back then. A well managed museum that tells the story of Singapore, with well organised exhibits and explanations. The building is beautifully restored with a modern extension hidden at the rear. A superb history of Singapore from ancient times conducted by a very well informed lady who I felt expressed a slightly biased view of Britains colonial past but if you don't mind little verbal flagellation then this is a very enjoyable and informative place to visit.
