Your trip to the garden takes you through the carefully planted and displayed plants separated into four zones. Each zone corresponds to a season and showcases shrubs, plants, herbs and flowers divided by colors aligned to the season. For example, the winter zone features white and blue blossoms with complementary plants. The National Orchid Garden offers you choices ranging from a quiet stroll through the blossoms to educational activities designed to explain the horticultural methods used to develop the gardens.

Last Saturday I took my nature walk at the National Orchid Garden - what a wonderful display of orchids. Plenty to see and a new indoor pavilion with air conditioning - tempting to stay there longer.
Singapore is surely blessed with a climate on which orchids thrive. This garden must be the work of immensely dedicated staff. Very photogenic - lots of photo opportunities.
