Start your Sentosa adventure by arriving at Vivo City. From the third floor, you can take the Sentosa Express (a colorful monorail) to the island, or from the first floor, you can walk along the Sentosa Boardwalk. We chose to walk, which takes about 15 minutes and offers beautiful photo opportunities. Once you cross the boardwalk, you'll see the Sentosa logo and the colorful monorail trains passing by. Next, head to the entrance of Universal Studios Singapore, where you can find a food court for a quick bite. From there, take the escalator down to the underground parking lot to catch a free shuttle bus to Siloso Beach. At Siloso, take the elevator up to the Skywalk for a panoramic view of Sentosa and the Strait of Malacca. Walk along the beach to find the colorful Siloso logo for a perfect photo spot. Across from the small station, you can take the beach tram to Palawan Beach. At Palawan Beach, cross the famous suspension bridge to reach the southernmost point of Asia, where you'll find the iconic leaning coconut tree. Enjoy the sunset on the beach before heading back. For your return, take the free beach tram or bus to Beach Station, where you can choose between a free bus or the Sentosa Express back to Vivo City. Tips: Singapore drives on the left, so wait on the left side for the tram to avoid going in the wrong direction. Stayed at W Hotel on Sentosa Island, Singapore. This was the first time my partner and I experienced W together, and it felt very special. 🏘️Room type/layout: This time we stayed in the 80-square-meter Fabulous Suite. The room continues the consistent style of W Hotels. The bedroom door opens to a pool view, and looking down you can see some private pools of the first-floor rooms; on the corner balcony, there is a bed placed in a secluded spot, facing away from the harbor, making it mostly invisible from other rooms, offering good privacy. The bathroom is spacious and well-designed. 🛌Amenities/facilities: The room facilities are a bit dated. There is purple-red lighting under the bed, equipped with a hanging chair and a huge sofa, which is quite unique. A TV is installed above the bathtub, allowing you to watch shows synced with the bedroom TV. The hotel pool is large, with many sofas and loungers, open 24 hours, but the water slide closes in the evening. 💗Other tips: - The concierge service is very warm and friendly. When checking in, they offer a small drink, and the room comes with complimentary W Hotel Singapore chocolates, which are very sweet. - The breakfast has a wide variety of fruits, including peeled jackfruit strips, as well as dim sum like shrimp dumplings. - Singapore is quite hot outdoors, so be sure to take precautions against heat when resting on the balcony bed. - Sentosa Island has shuttle buses for convenient travel, and W Hotel has its own dedicated stop. - Dining prices on the island are relatively high. We recommend Coastes by the sea, which has a comfortable ocean view and delicious fried chicken wings; for better value, you can eat at the Big Times food court in Vivocity mall, the last stop of the Sentosa Express. Mr Coconut in the mall is also worth trying, especially the original and Oreo flavors, with 25% sugar level recommended for a good taste.

Last year, we decided to spend our second day in Singapore roaming the streets of Chinatown, visiting Mount Faber Peak, and exploring Sentosa Island. 1) Chinatown Street Market 💰 Location: 29 Smith St, Singapore 058943 We spent the morning at the place filled with beautiful infrastructures, various stalls, restaurants, and food markets. I managed to buy souvenirs at an affordable price. It is indeed a must visit in Singapore. 2) Mount Faber Peak 🌄 Location: 109 Mount Faber Rd, Singapore 099203 After lunch, we ride the Cable Car at the Harbourfront Tower two to access the area. It is a wonderful experience to see part of Singapore from above. We stroll the area for a little bit, and then we are off to our next destination. 3) Sentosa Island Buying the Cable Car Flexi Pass deal at the Harbourfront Tower two for $65 per adult is a huge advantage. We are able to have unlimited cable car rides for the day and were able to choose 2 free activities (Sentosa Bus Tour and Wings of Time). With the Flexi Pass, we were able to explore Sentosa Island even with limited time. I really enjoyed walking around Resorts World while capturing a bunch of cute photos. A full day trip at Sentosa Island would be a better idea. To end the day, we watched the light and musical show called Wings of Time at Siloso Beach.
