This UNESCO World Heritage site is carved into three main areas, or "cores." The Tanglin core is the oldest and the one visitors see first as they pass through the historic Tanglin Gate. The Tyersall-Gallop core is integrated into the park's existing rainforest and the Bukit Timah core is home to a children's garden complete with treehouses, a suspension bridge, and farm. Also, visit the National Orchid Garden to see more than 1,000 species of orchids and 2,000 hybrids on display.
Don't miss the SPH Walk of Giants in the Tyersall-Gallop Core. It features some of the tallest trees in Southeast Asia.
The park is huge and sprawling, so you'll want to pick up an illustrated map at the entrance. It's essential to getting around, although most areas are well-signed. The garden is wheelchair-accessible and has wide paths for easy navigation.
It really depends what you're interested in. Most visitors prioritize seeing the National Orchid Garden but the entire place is popular with all ages-you often see multigenerational families walking the paths and posing for photos. For a quieter visit, go in the early morning and avoid weekends.

Not to be confused with the Gardens on the Bay, the Botanic Gardens are also worth a visit. Singapore received its first UNESCO World Heritage nomination for its botanical gardens, and with good reason. The city can sometimes feel like a concrete jungle, albeit a clean and comfortable one, but the botanic gardens preserve pieces of Singapore's wilder heritage.
Here, a walking trail leads to the gardens' heritage trees, which are conserved as part of an effort to protect the city's mature tree species. Make sure to visit the impressive National Orchid Garden as well.
Other popular things to do include visiting the eco-garden, eco-lake, bonsai garden, sculptures, and several other formal gardens.

Botanic Garden is one of the places of interest in Singapore. It is considered one of the biggest nature park . There are three entrances such as Nasim gate entrance, national orchid garden gate entrance & Melati Gate entrance . What I admired the most was the Orchid Garden flowers. It was so eye catching due to the colourful flowers. Besides orchid garden , there are waterfalls and lakes covered with various greenery plants that cooled down the temperature. Will get to pass by various type of plants. There are a lot of signs that are very clear for us to locate to the areas you wish to visit. Many restaurants and washroom around .
