Minions are everywhere, and there are lots of photo spots with many places to take pictures without having to compete. For those who want Character Meet and Greet, there are characters from Despicable Me including Gru / Lucy / Gru’s Girls and the Minions rotating throughout the day. Besides that, there are also shops, restaurants, ice cream shops, cute shopping stores, plenty of photo corners, and mini-games such as Banana Cabana or Super Silly Space Killer✨. The highlight show of this zone is Minute of Minion Mayhem featuring the Minions, and characters Margo, Edith, and Agnes dancing adorably. After the dance, they will stand for photos. The show is performed 4 times daily at 1:40 PM / 3:40 PM / 5:10 PM / 6:45 PM. There are 3 rides in total. Starting with the first ride, Buggie Boogie, a super cute Minion carousel dancing to hit songs mixed by the Minions. Around it, there are cute photo spots📸. The second ride is Silly Swirly, a ride like sitting on a balloon spinning in the sky, enjoying a high view of the amusement park. On the first day, we stayed at a sea view hotel in Sentosa—good view! Then we went to Skal on the 70th floor, the restaurant has an unbeatable view! The next day, we walked to Universal Studios. It was my first time staying at a hotel within walking distance to Universal! After playing, downstairs was the casino where we played a few rounds; the atmosphere was pretty good! In the evening, we ate at Song Fa Bak Kut Teh—highly recommend if you want to try bak kut teh! Later, we went to 99 Old Tree to eat durian if you dare; I definitely don’t dare. The next day at noon, we had Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice, which was super delicious, and Ya Kun, which I personally thought was just okay, not bad though. After eating, we went to take photos at the Merlion, then went to Jumbo Seafood, which isn’t cheap, so it depends on how you want to eat. After dark, we went to Marina Bay Sands to watch the water dance show and take photos—it was great! The next day, we just walked around the beach, strolled, soaked up the sun, and got ready to head back!
