Nice Walk in Blackies Pasture, Tiburon

We went to Blackies Pasture in Tiburon. We enjoyed a walk by the Bay. There are amazing views. We also liked the horse statue in the meadow.

Marinites know

There is now a statue of Blackie there. as a kid we would stop and pet/feed this horse, it was not lacking for affection. That we would memorialize a sway backed horse shows how loved Blackie was.

Remembering a swayback horse

Maybe you had to see the stoic, black swayback horse standing resolutely in his pasture to appreciate this site. You can imagine the scene. This horse caused a highway to be rerouted around his home....
