If Isola Bella is a symbol of the rich and grandeur, Pescatoli (Isola dei Pescatori) is the embodiment of the common people and simple labor. There are many typical fishermen's houses on the island (so the island is called Fisherman's Island), and a 15th century church. Around the island are boats, modern powerboats, old fishing boats, and can still see dry-dried wood frames, brackets and other fishing gear. It is also Hemingway's favorite refuge. Pescatori is very small, a 20-minute walk to travel around the city - but the alleys are very dense, full of petty bourgeois villas and restaurants.
