Named for its elephant head-like appearance, it is located in the Xinyi District in the southeastern part of the Taipei Basin. It has the same geology as Hushan and is mainly composed of sandstone. Due to orogeny, steep yellow-brown rock walls and boulders can be seen along the trail, plus natural environment creatures and birds. The trail is well repaired, flat, easy to walk, and the slope is not big. There are several specialty restaurants near the entrance on both sides of the trail, and the small rural-style house is very nice.
