Came here in the late afternoon so it was cooler but the sky was just beautiful with such a large landscape of garden plots and sight of memorial hall. The contrast of white building against the blue sky was perfect for photography. Watch the flag lowering at CKS.

Modern buildings, red and white exterior walls, need to be reserved to enter, the security check inside is still quite strict, this place is very meaningful, once the Japanese occupation of the office, only some areas are open to the outside world, there are many police officers patrolling with live ammunition, There are many collections given by other countries. There are special people to explain that they are tourists and locals will not go. There is also a gift shop inside, which can send postcards to friends, which is also very good.

New Taipei City Martyrs' Shrine - The original site was the ancient battlefield of the Huwei Battle during the Qing-France War. Tamsui Shrine was built in the 14th year of Showa (1939) during the Japanese colonial period to enshrine Emperor Meiji. After the war, Taiwan fell into ruins due to disrepair. In 1975, the Taipei County Government demolished the shrine and rebuilt it into a Chinese palace-style Martyrs' Shrine building, called the "Taipei County Martyrs' Shrine". Because the Martyrs' Shrine is surrounded by green ancient pines, under the archway of the Martyrs' Shrine you can listen to the pine waves and overlook Guanyin Mountain in the distance. The scenery is beautiful. It is one of the eight old scenic spots in Tamsui, and is known as the "Songs and Waves of the Martyrs' Shrine". In 2011, Taipei County was renamed New Taipei City, so it was renamed New Taipei City Martyrs Shrine.

Peeled scorpion - The settlement formed in the early Qing Dynasty . spanning the three eras of Qing Dynasty, Japanese rule and Republic of China, mixing architectural styles and humanistic features of different periods, and becoming a city street that represents the characteristics of scorpion. In 2009, the renovated "Peeled Historical District" was completed, standing in the lanes of Wanhua District, Taipei City today, continuing the historical trajectory of more than 100 years: the red and brown brick walls of arched pavilion feet, surrounded by the ancient atmosphere. part 2

Linantai Ancient House - also known as Rongtai House, was built in today's Da'an District during the Qianlong period. It was demolished in 1978 due to road widening. It is a single-story, two-entry courtyard house in the Ming and Qing Dynasty's southern Fujian style, with water-shaped gables and a dovetail-style roof. With the main hall for worshiping ancestors as the central axis, there is the Sanchuan Gate of Sanchuan Gate in the front, and Qiancheng and Yuemei Pond outside. part 3

Taipei City Confucius Temple - It adopts the architectural form of the main temple in Qufu. The beams, columns, doors and windows are all uninscribed, making it appear simple and solemn. Its layout is Wanren Palace Wall, Panchi, Lingxing Gate, Yimen, Dacheng Hall and Chongsheng Temple in order; and Because of the folk construction, in addition to the shape and specifications, regional decorative styles were also added, that is, the Cochin pottery and shear-and-stick decoration unique to southern Fujian. The Cochin pottery decoration is a special example of the Confucius temple architecture in Taiwan.

North Gate is an iconic building in Taipei, but it has long lacked the historical sites and landscape maintenance, and the North Gate viaduct (Zhongxiao Bridge Leadway) opened in 1978 is passed close to the North Gate, which makes the North Gate seriously blocked visually. In view of this, the Taipei Municipal Government launched the urban renewal plan "West Gate Gate Project" in 2015, which listed the landscape of the North Gate as one of the key projects, demolishing the North Gate viaduct in early 2016, and creating a square-style open space around the city gate. The north gate is expected to become a historical landmark in Taipei.
