It's a pleasant surprise to be able to enjoy the red maple leaves in April! I thought maple leaves only turned red in autumn, but it turns out that the maple trees at the Grand Terrace also turn into a sea of red when they sprout new leaves in spring. The entire park is filled with red maples, making it super suitable for taking photos! Plus, the weather is just right now, not too hot, perfect for taking pictures on Yangmingshan. What's more surprising is that I encountered people who dressed up in traditional costumes for a photo shoot! 🤩🤩 Admission is 150 TWD, of which 100 TWD can be used for purchases. I chose the osmanthus oolong cold brew tea, which has the real fragrance of osmanthus! However, I suggest trying other drinks, as you'll end up eating the actual osmanthus flowers with the oolong tea 🤣, which isn't a great texture. The restaurant also offers meals! You can take bus S8 or S9 from Jiantan or Beitou MRT station to Zhuzihu, then walk for about 5 to 10 minutes to reach the Grand Terrace, which is quite convenient!
