Lengshuikeng Village is also a famous hot spring area in Taipei, but it is not in Beitou, but in Shilin. There are far fewer people than in Beitou, but the surrounding scenery is very nice. If you like it, you can come here.
Come here to soak your feet for free! Take the Yangmingshan bus and get off at Lengshuikeng Station. When you get off the bus, you can faintly smell the smell of sulfur. Go up the stairs and you will see several pavilions. That is where you can soak your feet. Go up to the hot spring bathhouse, which is charged. The pavilion for soaking feet is free. Find a place to sit down and soak your feet in slippers. The water temperature is not too high, just right. The water is yellowish. After soaking for half an hour, wipe your feet with a paper towel. The paper towel is rusty, and your feet are smooth. The result of the appraisal is that the hot spring is good!
I don't know why it's called Lengshuikeng, but this is clearly a hot spring area with many hot springs. There is also a public foot-soaking area, which is very comfortable. Moreover, cars can go directly to the mountain, so it is very convenient for us to charter a car.
Wandering around Yangmingshan, I took a bus along the Qingtiangang Grassland and arrived at Lengshuikeng. Although it is called Lengshuikeng, it is actually a hot spring area. There are public hot spring rooms and foot baths here. The foot bath is right next to the station and you can see it as soon as you get off the bus. I was very tired after walking the mountain road. It was so comfortable to soak my feet in the hot spring here to relieve my fatigue...
Lengshuikeng is located halfway up Yangmingshan Mountain. You will pass by here when you take the bus up the mountain. There is a service station and a small pavilion with free hot springs for foot bathing. It is a good place to take a rest after a tiring hike.
Lengshuikeng is also part of Yangmingshan Park, located halfway up the mountain. In fact, the water temperature is not too low, and it does not feel particularly cold. But in summer, it is definitely a good place to escape the heat.
