Original Text
A shrine that mourns the Sengoku warlord Ukita Yotaro Motoie who died in this area. It is called by the locals by the character Yotaro. It is said that the shrine is derived from the fact that Motoie injured his leg, so it is said that his legs are beneficial. It was associated with Goo Shrine (Kyoto) and Wake Shrine (Okayama), which enshrined Wake Kiyomaro, also known as the god of the legs. There is no approach, and a shrine is along the road. Although it is a small shrine, there is a thick faith, and there was a worship of 2 group in about 10 minutes of stay.
Located in Yahama Osaki. It has been around for a long time, and I walk from the Shonai (Nagao) area. Famous as the god of the foot. It is derived from the story of the founder Ukita Motoie. Anyway, Yahama before reclamation was a place facing Kojima Bay and it seems that the beach spreads out. A good place to think about that.
It is also revered by the locals as a god of legs and waists. When my grandpa and grandma were alive, I often went to visit together. Yahama, Tamano City has many historical buildings, so it is recommended to visit historic sites while enjoying the countryside.
