Ybor City is the old town of Tampa. The buildings here are quite historic. You can take the free tram from Tampa. Here is the bar street at night. The most famous is Columbia Restaurant 1905. It is a century-old shop. Have a chance to taste Spanish flavor.
If you want to understand Latin American culture, you can come and have a look. Taste handmade cigars and watch artificial cigars. Experience Latin American art. The neighborhood is relatively old, and there are wild noble chickens foraging leisurely.
If you want to learn about the history of Tampa, then you must come to Wiber City. If you want to sit in a place full of history and enjoy food, I recommend La Terrazza. You can shop in a retro atmosphere, don't miss La Petite France, the beautiful brick streets and the iconic lamp posts. At night, bars and nightlife become active. I am not interested in these, so I will not comment. I really like the old houses here, the roosters on the side of the road, the beautiful surroundings and the history of Tampa. Recommend another food that the locals like: the 1905 salad from the famous Colombian restaurant. This dish is our family's favorite. Whether it’s a dinner date or a work meal, it’s my husband and I’s favorite place.
We drove there on Thursday and stayed there for one night so could learn what was there. There was live music, food, drinks, lots of young people and teenagers on Friday night. Besides that, there was a sense of New Orleans.
The semi-open bar, tattoo shop and cigar shop on both sides of Ybor City Main Street 7 streaks of cigars filled the entire block. 5th Street is a 100 year old rail car still running at both ends of 5th Street, we spent most of the hour wandering around the block just to eat at the hundreds of year old Columbia restaurant, but when we walked 7th Street to the restaurant we were not able to stay on this block again Breathe! This is another world, be safe!
