Youli City is in the middle part of Wenwang Road, Hanzhuang Town, Tangyin County, Anyang City. It was almost a 1000 years ago that King Ji Chang of the Zhou Dynasty was imprisoned by King Zhou of the Shang Dynasty for 7 years. Later generations then built the commemorative Wenwang Temple at the site of the city. Ji Chang wrote the book Book of Changes during these years of prison. Now, it boasts Yanyi Workshop, the Mountain Gate, Yanyi Terrace of King Wen of Zhou, ancient hall foundations and more. It is in Yanyi Terrace where Jichang was imprisoned.
