Disappointing drive
Drove there from Waikoloa Village on Dec 26 only to be disappointed that they were closed. Wished they could update their days and times as were really looking forward to seeing the gardens
The Pua Mau Place has a collection of the most amazing plants I have seen. In addition, the location beside the ocean makes it a setting that is wonderful.
Cynthia was a lovely and informative docent for the facility. It does look like it is struggling from lack of business. So, GO! Wear sturdy shoes, and enjoy the eclectic gardens!
I agree with the reviews that this attraction has sadly lost its former attraction! However there were some unique experiences which made the visit worthwhile. the lady at the entry gallery was delig...
One man's dream has fallen into disrepair since his death
This was a life long dream of a wealthy man, to create a botanical garden in the dry desert of North Kohola. He appears to have succeeded in spite of a series of devestating fires outside his control....
