Permanently closed. 2018 subsidence of the Halemaumau pit and associated instability of the Kalauea caldera wall has forced permanent closure of this facility.
Even though we live nearby, Jaguar museum was always a great source of information for us and our visitors. Due last summer’s eruption, the museum and overlook are closed.

So many memories... Will cherish this spot forever, building was compromised during the 60,000+ earthquakes that occurred right below the building
