Renkoji Temple is located in Suginami District, Tokyo. It was founded in 1594 and is a temple of the Nichiren sect. Destroyed by fire in 1806, it was rebuilt in 1914. The Dotomi shop Daikokuten is enshrined in the temple, expressing the beliefs of the common people in the Edo period. The main hall of the temple is lined with green trees and the environment is very pleasant.
