This winter, the "Great Dinosaur Night Parade" will be held again at the Tokyo National Museum!
Dinosaurs, recreated using ON-ART's patented technology, stalk the museum's courtyard at night. In a fantastical space where light and darkness intertwine, visitors can encounter approximately 21 dinosaurs, including Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops, for a special experience.
Tokyo National Museum x DINO-A-LIVE: A miraculous collaboration?!
In 2022, the dinosaurs from DINO-A-LIVE were recognized as "candidates for national treasures 150 years from now" for a special exhibition at the Tokyo National Museum, and ON-ART's representatives, Kanamaru and Kozuka, were appointed official ambassadors for the museum. This connection led to the miraculous collaboration "Tokyo National Museum x DINO-A-LIVE." Inspired by the "Night Parade of One Hundred Demons" (Hyakki Yako Emaki), a grand procession of monsters and demons that unfolds at night after everyone has gone to sleep, this event, "Dinosaur Night Parade," was born as a new nighttime parade. Following the success of the first event in 2024, this year we will be holding an even more upgraded "Dinosaur Night Parade 2025."
A fusion of historical architecture and ancient romance
The venue, the Tokyo National Museum, is one of Japan's most iconic historical buildings. On this night, the wildness of dinosaurs in a time before humans existed, human culture and art, and us here today will all sparkle together and roar together with the dinosaurs into the future.
The magical experience and beautiful scenery unfolding before your eyes while you feel the pulse of life is a must-see.
