The city of Tsuyama where the Miyagawa and Kamo River join the Yoshii River. It seems that there was no permanent bridge on this Yoshii River because the flow rate fluctuates greatly depending on the season. Therefore, at the end of the 18th century, a permanent bridge was finally built at the request of the locals, and it was named Imazuya Bridge because it was in front of a shop called Imazuya.
