This was such a great day trip! There are several caves that you can choose from and the difficulty levels range from easy to hard. The park rangers are really sweet and helpful.

Undeniably a rewarding adventure

Exploring the lava tube caves is undeniably a rewarding adventure. The caves align precisely with the descriptions—completely devoid of lighting, and frequently featuring rugged and steep entry paths.

If you don't go in the caves, then don't go

If you are not into caving, then I don't recommend going, the entrance fee is too high. Some of the views were real nice, but not much to do if you don't go in the caves, which we did not.
