i was so lucky to be on the island of shikoku and see the wonderfull 88 sacred places
in shokoku we speak about the hachi ju hachi basho it means the 88 places to even come close to each of the 88 temples is a rare delight indeed this island is special
This is a cute small garden, the layout is nice, the mountain in the back gives it a nice backdrop but its overall not that well kept and cannot be compared to others in the area, let alone Kyoto. Id ...
This maybe be a small garden but it is really wonderful place. The layout is extremely well done. Got some great photos. We just enjoyed the walk round and had a relaxing time.

It is a Japanese garden on Uwajima. It feels a little smaller than a common Japanese garden, but it feels like the essence is condensed by that amount. There are quite a few benches and rest areas, so it's a good feeling to spend a relaxing time. We recommend that you visit as a set with Uwajima Castle.
