Peaceful
I went early in the morning (~8) so they were still sweeping the area but I immediately felt all tension melt away. Walking the ground, you get a feel for how big the shrine is.
Great location with a bridge before. we where there during the festival so there where a lot of extra decorations including the Bulls. Temple itself is not big but also a nice one.
You can walk from Uwajima station in a few minutes.

It is a shrine that can be reached on foot from Uwajima Station. It is a shrine characterized by a large stone torii gate and a stone bridge. It's a picturesque place, so I think it's perfect for a walk.
At night, when I was walking in front of the torii gate, there was a fantastic shrine with a light on, so I was invited. Passing through the first torii gate, walking along the approach illuminated by yellow lights, passing through the torii gate of Ni, crossing the Shinko Bridge, passing through the white floating Shinmon, and climbing the stone steps, a large brightly illuminated votive tablet welcomes you. It was. Then, when I turned to the right, there was a mysterious shining shrine. I revisited the next morning, but it was more impressive when I visited at night.
I worshiped when I stayed in Uwajima city. It is about a 10-minute walk from Uwajima Station. There is a large stone torii gate, and the main shrine and the main shrine are located up the stone steps. It's a big shrine, and I thought it was a shrine dedicated to the feudal lord of Uwajima, but Seibei Yamaie, the chief retainer of the Uwajima domain during the early days of the Uwajima domain, is the deity. SL is staticly exhibited in the park in front of the shrine.
