Dormition Cathedral(Assumption Cathedral)

The Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is located on the steep high ground of the Klyazma River in the urban area. It is a very old church in Russia. Famous for the "colorless artificial gem building structure" popular in the 12th century, it was one of the great creations of Russian architecture in the 12th century. From the 12th to the 15th centuries, tsars were crowned here. During the communist period of prohibition, this church was the only one that still opened its doors to the public and was respected by the Orthodox Church. In the 19th century, since the original church was no longer in use, a large white stone church was built on the right side of the original church. There are also cultural centers and libraries in the church.
