Visiting Riyue Bay was easily one of the highlights of my trip to Wanning. The moment I arrived, I could see why it’s one of the most popular surfing destinations in China. The ocean views were stunning, the beach was clean, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and refreshing. Even if you’re not into surfing, Riyue Bay is worth visiting for its beautiful scenery alone. There are plenty of seaside cafés, photo spots, and places to simply sit back and enjoy the sound of the waves. The area has a youthful, laid-back vibe that makes it easy to spend an entire day here without getting bored. I especially loved watching the surfers ride the waves while the sun slowly set over the coast. It felt peaceful yet full of energy at the same time. Opening the door reveals expansive rice fields stretching over a hundred acres. When the morning mist drifts in, it feels like stepping into a painting, and the sound of the wind rustling through the rice waves instantly relaxes you. The B&B’s design is very thoughtful, with Roman column arches and a carefully tended garden full of a lazy South French vacation vibe. Especially in the afternoon sunlight, the air seems to carry the fresh fragrance of flowers and herbs. The most delightful experience is lying by the uniquely shaped pool, where your view crosses the water directly into the rice field landscape; or soaking in the secret hot spring pool fed by mountain spring water, cool and refreshing. The starry sky movie at night paired with the tranquility of the fields creates a particularly romantic atmosphere. The B&B’s complimentary experiences are very considerate—you get to enjoy freshly baked waffles with fruit for afternoon tea, participate in a fun handmade shell craft, and even book henna painting. The host’s service is warm and friendly. Within three kilometers, electric car transfers to and from the surfing spots and beach bars are very convenient, perfect for those who don’t want to hassle with transportation. Although soundproofing could be improved in some areas, the overall atmosphere and scenic experience are very comfortable. I especially loved the peaceful feeling of temporarily leaving the hustle and bustle behind, being in nature yet enjoying quality (their philosophy is “In the wild, the heart is luxurious,” and this time I truly experienced it). Rarely can you truly relax on vacation! No noisy playgrounds, just the highest level of companionship for kids in nature and art 😭😭 So happy…. ✔️ Stay in a jungle painting, full of wild luxury vibes The hotel is surrounded by coconut groves, mountains, and rice fields, like a natural oxygen bar. Our room had full-frame floor-to-ceiling windows, with a view full of greenery. They use Italian Ferragamo toiletries, and the bedding is super comfortable. The decor is a mix of Moroccan and Southeast Asian styles, filled with vintage art pieces, feeling like living in an art gallery!!  ✔️ Healthy and delicious food😋 Many ingredients in the restaurant come from local sources and their own garden. A gathering place for surfers|Staying here is just right As a surfing enthusiast, the most important factors for accommodation in Riyue Bay are location and atmosphere, and Junlang perfectly meets all my needs! It's only a 5-minute electric scooter ride to the surf spot, making training trips very convenient. The room is well-ventilated, and the air conditioning runs 24 hours effectively. After a day at the beach, the room remains cool and dry. The guest room is simply and practically arranged, with ample storage space, making it very convenient to store surfing gear. Most guests in the guesthouse are like-minded surfers, creating a great atmosphere for communication. The owner is also an experienced surfer and will recommend suitable surf spots and coaches based on your skill level, full of valuable tips. This guesthouse is the top choice for travel stays and board training, offering a perfect experience. It has already been added to my regular list!
