Hopefully, I went to find a wild koala. I walked for 30 minutes and found nothing but a few big ostriches.
There is no tower on the mountain. The name is called because it is the commanding height of Warrnambool. The road is very narrow and not suitable for large buses. Generally, group tourists will not come and only encounter a self-driving car. It was the first time I saw wild ostriches on the side of the road. They were not afraid of people or cars. A large grassland surrounds the lake on the top of the mountain, and there is a building similar to a canteen next to it. I think this is a good place for a picnic in the hottest season. The lakes and mountains do not require tickets and are worth a visit.
A very comfortable town away from the Great Ocean Road towards Ade
It's such a big and quiet lake. It's less than an hour's drive from Warrnambool town to get here. There are not many people and the scenery is good!
Free park, great experience. The children found a koala and a kangaroo.
