The scenery was absolutely stunning! The passenger ship was clean and spacious, and the service on board was excellent! The Three Gorges scenery made the trip worthwhile! However! Ctrip's ticket is truly baffling. The itinerary clearly doesn't include Dachang Ancient Town anymore; there's no tour bus, and the town is an hour's drive from the port, requiring passengers to drive there themselves. Yet, Ctrip's ticket description still advertises transportation to Dachang Ancient Town, charging more than other platforms. This is misleading consumers. The back-end system should immediately verify this with the local tourist service center!

The explanation on the cruise ship is equivalent to nothing, and there will always be sales promotion for taking photos. This is a flaw in the ointment, but it is also very understandable. When you reach the depths of the Small Three Gorges, you can change to a black-sailed boat to enter the Small Three Gorges. This journey takes about half an hour. Wushan has beautiful scenery. The Three Gorges have their own characteristics and are worth visiting. But it does not have the sense of danger before the water was filled. It is a different style. In addition, it would be better if it was not so commercial. There are always sales on the cruise ship, which makes people uncomfortable.

It is worth going. You can consider two routes. One is to take a cruise from Chaotianmen in Chongqing, and the other is to take the high-speed rail 🚄 directly to Wushan. The scenery of the Little Three Gorges is more distinctive than that of the Three Gorges. The cliffs are steeper, and you can also see wild monkeys 🐒.
