I've stepped on the pit of the Terracotta Army in Xi'an for everyone! Avoiding the thunder
"The ground plane is a mysterious mirror. Above the mirror, there are the towering and silent mausoleums; beneath the mirror, the time of the empire still walks."
The Mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shi Huang is as big as 78 Forbidden Cities, equivalent to an underground kingdom, and the Terracotta Army is just the tip of the iceberg.
Let's talk about the 【Bronze Crown】 bronze chariots and horses, which took 8 years to restore and were made at a scale of one-half of the vehicles used by Emperor Qin Shi Huang's royal fleet. The displayed No. 1 chariot is a replica.
The two chariots are mainly made of bronze, and they are the earliest, largest, most complex, most complete, highest level, most exquisitely made, and best-preserved bronze chariots unearthed in China. They are also the largest bronze artifacts discovered in world archaeology.
👀Recommended visiting order for the Terracotta Army: Pit No. 1—Pit No. 3—Pit No. 2
Pit No. 1: Currently the pit with the most terracotta warriors, the first three rows without armor are infantry (dare-to-die troops). I thought I couldn't capture the effect of the sunset on the terracotta warriors on a rainy day (in fact, I couldn't without a telephoto lens), but there is a warm light spotlight overhead, which photographers can use to create.
Pit No. 3: It is the command center, currently the smallest in scale. Deer bones have been unearthed in the pit, presumably used by the army for divination.
Pit No. 2: Still being "developed", there is a work area set up on-site, and archaeologists are usually present to restore the terracotta warriors.
♢The warriors in this pit are special forces, among which the kneeling archer was unearthed intact, the only one that has not been restored, with clear hair, shoelace eyelets, fingernails, and even palm prints visible.
♢The Terracotta Army has a unique face for each soldier, the ultimate in realism, admiring the craftsmanship of the artisans two thousand years ago, and also paying tribute to today's cultural relic restorers.
👉🏻About stamping: After exiting Pit No. 2, go to the cultural and creative store on the left outside (the ice cream sold there has no eyes), where you need to buy a pass for 35 yuan, and staff will help you stamp it.
🚌Transportation: Take Line 1/6 to 'Textile City', transfer to Line 9 to 'Huaqing Pool', and then take a bus or taxi (10 yuan/person) to get there.
🎫Ticket: 120 yuan/person (includes the Terracotta Army + Mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shi Huang) Students 60 yuan/person
📍Address: Emperor Qin Shi Huang's Mausoleum Museum, Lintong District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province
⏰Opening hours: 8:30~18:00 (entry stops at 17:00)
The Terracotta Warriors and Horses are really shocking! It is worthy of being one of the eight wonders of the world. Standing in front of the crater, it seems to travel back to the Qin Dynasty. Every Terracotta Warriors and Horses is lifelike, thousands of people, and the craft is exquisite and amazing. The scenic area has complete facilities and the explanation is in place. I deeply feel the weight of history. It is definitely a treasure attraction worth going again!
I need a professional explanation too much. Fortunately, I have a whole day group. I don’t have to panic and I have everything. Otherwise, I will face the big mound and small mound. Huaqing Pool + "Xi'an Incident" + Terracotta Warriors and Horses + "Long Hate Song". It is really "Looking into Chang'an Flowers One Day".
Check in the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, in fact, ten years ago, in addition to the outside stalls, the other pits are still these, nothing has changed, with experts' words people still have to keep awe, I hope there will be some breakthrough discoveries in the year of life.
Give the Terracotta Warriors and Horses a good service. Take advantage of the end of the summer vacation to bring 10 years old, 15 years old and 2 children to Xi'an. We use the Taiwan Certification Archaeological Museum/Qinyu Hall to book tickets online. It is very convenient for militia Ma Ping: The children's Taiwan tire certificate can't be reserved, and I asked by phone. As long as the adult has an appointment for a ticket, other children's vouchers are exchanged for free tickets at the ticket gate Huashan: even the adult certificate can't be made, the phone asked: the hard answer: all are family vouchers special ticket gates to buy tickets, to ensure that there are tickets in these places, The children are very happy to receive the ticket of the US Shaanxi Museum of the Culture of the Guoshanchuan. We are also able to make an appointment at 10/11/18 according to the rules. The ticket can really be made, but the magic is the Taiwan compatriot certificate that the Archaeological Museum/Qinyu Museum can make an appointment. In the last link, I jumped out of the ID card information phone and never got through. Later, I wanted to say that the government organs should be the same as the people. I took the children to take a taxi and asked the security brother first. I kindly answered to the ticket gate to see if I would give the ticket. I arrived at the ticket gate. Today, there is definitely no ticket online appointment. No, Taiwan compatriot certificate brushed another two-dimensional bar code about other days, but today there is no ticket. Since there is another choice, why not open it and ask people to run around. There is a ticket to brush the code, and there is no ticket to brush about other days. The child has a good mentality, saying Dad: We don’t matter, 𣎴 Let’s go.
I got up early and went there at about 7:30. I entered the venue at 8 o'clock. I didn't imagine the crowds. But when I came out, I had a long queue. And the current limit was limited. I put people in the venue once in 20 minutes. So I must go early, and there must be an explanation, otherwise I will go in vain and I don't know anything. Watching a group of tuxus, Huaqing Palace also hired an explanation to watch the song of long hate at night, very good
Xi'an must-see attractions, although the summer is very hot, but not been to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses is equivalent to not been to Xi'an! At present, 3 pits are open, only the 1 pit is not air-conditioned, but the Terracotta Warriors and Horses are in the 1 pit, so no matter how hot, you have to queue up to see the spectacular view of this underground regiment!
Best time to visit is early so that you have started your day here with less crowds. Wander through all areas of the tombs to see a variety of artefacts.
A historical cultural site. Still in the process of being excavated, the Terracotta Warriors are a sightseeing marvel. Created to accompany the first emperor of China into the afterlife, it is amazing to see how these warriors have stood against the test of time. I definitely recommend reading up on the history before you go to visit in order to fully appreciate what you’re seeing.
