Huguo Xingjiao Temple

Tang monks are buried about 20 kilometers south of Xi'an City, on the banks of Shaolingyuan, Duqu Town, Chang'an District. Xi'an Huguoxingjiao Temple is both a place for translators and travelers Xuanzhao magnates in the Tang Dynasty and a Buddhist temple in Xi'an.

Tang Su Zongti's word "Xingjiao" was named after him. Xingjiao Temple consists of three parts of the temple, the tower courtyard and the Tibetan Jinglou. The ancient trees in the temple are towering and the building is very old. The most famous is the Tang Sanzang Ling Pagoda, which is a masonry structure of the Tang Dynasty.

Xingjiao Temple, more than 20 miles south of the city from the city center, takes the No. 2 subway terminal and takes 917 bus to reach it. It's very convenient. A little farther away, it's enough to pay a visit back and forth for more than four hours. As far away from the city, there are not many tourists, few people as tourist attractions. When I went, I didn't see pilgrims except a few young people who laughed and talked. The monastery is quiet and solemn, and the gray buildings seem remote and dignified. The spiritual bones of Sanzang Master, an important figure of Buddhism in China and even in the world, are enshrined here. The past is deduced nearly 14 years ago, when Xuanzang rode alone across the vast Gobi, it was extremely difficult and dangerous to sacrifice his life for Buddhism. This trip to Xi'an, kneeling to worship Master Xuanzang was my unexpected gain. It was also Master Xuanzang's mercy and compassion. It comforted my life wish! South without Maitreya Bodhisattva!
