Huxi Cave

It is close to the botanical garden, hilly mountains, not high, free, and it is very good to climb. There are several temples on the mountain, you can focus on it, and then many cliff stone carvings are another point. The top of the mountain can overlook the scenery of Xiamen.

Huxiyan is the temple on the mountain. Fortunately, the mountain on the island is not high. You can climb the mountain soon. The temple is built very well. There are some good scenery combined with the terrain. There are tea in the temple. You can see the scenery and drink tea. It's very good.

Huxiyan is a nature reserve and park in Xiamen. It is located on the southwest side of Wanshiyan and is connected to Bailu Dong Temple. There is an ancient temple between Huxi Rock, called Donglin Temple, and Yuping Temple. It was built in the Ming Dynasty in Wanli, and it has been rebuilt in 1984. In the early morning, many believers will come here to burn incense and worship Buddha and read scriptures, and you can feel the Buddhist edification here.

Xiamen Huxi Rock Temple, also known as Huxi Rock Temple, was built by Tang and Chen Li. During the Ming and Wanli Dynasties, the gentry Lin Mao-shi raised funds for the construction. During the reign of Emperor Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty, monk Yuanfei came to Xiamen to preside over the temple at the invitation of Wu Ying, the governor of Fujian Naval Division, and to build civil works, rebuild the Daxiong Palace, add Chuiyun Tower, Dabei Palace, Yiwuting Pavilion and Fuhudong. After more than 30 years of painstaking management, it is quite large-scale.

The scenery is very good. The Tiger Creek Rock Temple is very famous. The mountains are covered with huge stones, all of which are rare and dangerous. There is a huge stone like a bud beside the mountain gate, on which "a bud appears first" is engraved. Entering the mountain gate and following the pedal, there are inscriptions such as "gradually entering a good situation", "three smiles" which multiply people's pleasure. The pedal road is full of "Huxi" on which there is a bow-shaped stone bridge, commonly known as "Xianren Bridge", also known as "Crossing the Tiger Bridge". After crossing the bow bridge, I came to the cave "Lingze Name" which was named after the sentence "Mountain is not high, fairy is named, water is not deep, and dragon is Ling" in Liu Yuxi "Poor Room Inscription" of Tang Dynasty. On the mountain, you can see the scenery around Yanwu Bridge and Minority Road, which is worth visiting.
