Xiangyang is a national historical and cultural city, a warm and poetic city in the eyes of Meng Haoran, a city of strategic military importance in the writings of Luo Guanzhong, and a city of martial arts legends in Jin Yong's works. The Prosperous Tang City of Xiangyang, a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, is located in the Xian Mountain Riverside Scenic Area of Xiangyang. It was specially built for the famous director Chen Kaige's movie 'Legend of the Demon Cat', taking 6 years to construct a capital city and planting twenty thousand trees. Time flies swiftly; the trees have grown, the movie has been shot, leaving behind only this magnificent and spectacular Prosperous Tang City. The Tang City film and television studio is divided into six major areas: city towers, palaces, markets, residences, temples, and water systems, with many large individual buildings such as the imperial palace, Mingde Gate, Qinglong Temple, Changsheng Hall, Hua'e Xianghui Tower, and Huyue Tower. The scenic area of Tang City draws water from the Han River into the city and connects it with eight water systems inside the city through eight bridges, forming a pattern of 'eight waters surrounding Chang'an'. Stepping into it is like walking in the prosperous Tang Dynasty a thousand years ago. The antique architectural complex, set against the backdrop of the Tang Dynasty's culture, is scattered in a picturesque arrangement. White railings and jade steps, carved beams and painted rafters; pavilions, towers, and ancient-style markets, every corner of the scenic area is a beautiful landscape painting. 'Tang City' is not an ancient building with a long history; it lacks the sediment of time and the traces of vicissitudes.
