Taiyi Cave Scenic Area is located in Jiangjiadong Village, Wenquan Street Office, Xianning City, Xianning District, in Shiwu Mountain, about 5 kilometers southwest of the city. The cave has been formed for about 3.6 million years. According to legend, it was dug by Taiyi Zhenren for the people to control water.
