Nanshuo Mountain is also called Nanfoshan. In Xining Huangzhong, Taoist holy land. The mountain is steep and the scenery is beautiful. Most Taoist temples are on the cliffs, I remember Guanyin Pavilion, Longwang Temple, Zhenwu Temple. The road to the top of the mountain is difficult to walk. It is a cliff with chains.
Nanshuo Mountain is located 15 kilometers southwest of Huangzhong County, and is also known as Xiyuan Mountain, Shuoping Mountain and Nanfoshan Mountain. Here the mountains are high and steep, covered by green trees, and the water is gurgling. There are Taoist temples, halls, pavilions, and cave houses on the mountain. In ancient times, it was called "the fourth Taiyuanji true cave of Taoism". Taoist facilities were built in the 17th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1589). After Buddha statues were added in the early Qing Dynasty, Nanshuo Mountain became a tourist attraction where Buddhism and Taoism were integrated.
We are foreigners living in Xining. This time I discovered Nanshuo Mountain in Qinghai Province. The colors of autumn and the natural environment are beautiful.
Great place to climb the mountain! The light in the evening is very beautiful! It's a little dangerous, but the sense of accomplishment after climbing is also great!
Not far from my home, summer is very nice, fresh air and beautiful scenery
