I climbed Mt. Takatori. It is a superb view overlooking the Chikugo Plain.

I climbed Mt. Takatori 802m, the highest peak in Kurume City. It took about 2 hours from Ishigaki, Tanushimaru Town to reach the summit. Many people come by car because it is a mountain where the Mino Skyline runs, but after all the mountains have to be climbed with their own feet. There is a sense of accomplishment and the degree of excitement is different even if you look at the same scenery. In front of you, you can see the Chikugo River across Tanushimaru Town, Mt. Kodokoro over there, and Mt. Homan in the distance. It was a pity that if the air was clear, I would see it even further.
The view from the glider departure and arrival is the best

If you drive far from Takara Taisha Shrine, you will arrive at the glider departure and arrival point. You can enjoy the superb view there even in the daytime. The night view is beautiful, not to mention, but there is a cliff, so people who don't know the land want to go in the daytime
When I drove from Yame City to Kurume, I used the road of the mountain 々 around here. The weather was nice, so the scenery was good. You can see various places such as the Ariake Sea, Shimabara Peninsula, and Kurume City. Fields and orchards were also seen at the foot of the mountain. It's a little-known spot.
I was walking in the mountains, but I was worried that there was a lot of garbage. TV, tires, magazines. It's a pity that some people don't value nature.
It is a mountain 々 that lies south of the Chikugo River.

Mt. Kora, Mt. Mino, Mt. Hashin, and Mt. Takatori (the highest peak 802 m) are connected from the west, and there are about 30 km east and west. There is a skyline, which is good for driving and you can climb. The scenery is good and you can overlook Mt. Homan, Unzen and Ariake Sea. There is Kurume Forest Azalea Park and you can enjoy a splendid azalea at GW. The autumn leaves of the eel trees are wonderful in autumn. On the north side, there are fruits, Ueki no Sato, and Tashumaru (recently there are many restaurants), where you can cut Kyoho. A place rich in nature is ...
